[video] Fastest World Cup Finals Goal by Hakan Sukur

In the third place match between Turkey and South Korea Hakan Sukur score the first goal of the match after just 11 seconds! Turkey went on to win the game 3-2 and Sukur’s goal would set a new World Cup Finals record.




However the fastest World Cup goal scored during the preliminary stages was scored by Davide Gualtieri after just 8.3 seconds in 1993 during San Marino’s 7-1 loss to England.
