[video] England World Cup Songs (part 3)
Due to the popularity of the previous two posts I have mad a page that will have all the posts in one and I have called it: The England World Cup Songs Video Page!
Anyway today I have more… yes more music videos for you to ‘enjoy’. Between YouTude and MySpace I think England have about 30 World Cup Songs this year, with only one official one and the rest claiming to be the ‘official unofficial’ song. It’s great either way and there are some great track and great videos being made!
So lets start…
The video may not be up to much, it’s just a couple of ‘the lads’ farting about town trying to be cool. Nothing wrong with that, I try to be cool everyday and fail in spectacular fashion, and at least these to have friends! Anyway, the tunes a catchy number, they have use the the hit song “Ebeneezer Goode” and instead of “ebeneezer goode” it’s “Engerland, England”… a catchy number!
This is a builder of a song that cuts out as you feel it will begin to get going! Sounds like a good tune and the video has some good England clips in…
Now it’s time to ROCK! If you like to ROCK then you’ll like this song. The video is not up to much as they only had one camera and no budget, you’ll see some head bangin’, ‘football’ and people playing their instruments. Good song though…
I really like this next one, it’s what an unofficial song should be all about. I funny video, getting your mates involved and singing about England winning the World Cup.
Here is a great video and good use of the hit song ‘High Ho Silver Lining’… and it’s high ho come on England!! Watch St George wizz around on his Vespa - classic!
Now time for some HIP-HOP, and it’s great stuff. The lads from Bristol have produced a fantastic song with great lyrics and a pretty funny video also. They manage to slate every country taking part with some great lines like: what about the swiss? ***** please! Whot are they good at? Makin Cheese!
If the Sex Pistols were to have ever done a World Cup song this would have been it! It a great stomping tune with an ever better animated video. It’s by The 253 Boys, and can be downloaded here.
There is also this England tune: We’re The England The song’s a bit serious and the video is dull, not really what thefootballblog.co.uk wants from an unofficial song! Also there is this one Keep It Going England and the MP3 is only .79p…
And finally…
It’s not their song, but the classic of all classic England football songs Three Lions. This video is great just to watch these lads messing around and trying to be skilful! Where’s the Oscar?!
